  bmi is pleased to announce that its direct services to Marrakech in Morocco will be increased from three to five times a week, in response to growing customer demand.

  From 1 October 2011, bmi will operate to Marrakech from London Heathrow every Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and is the only airline to offer a direct service from London Heathrow. The additional flights on Thursday and Saturday will benefit both business and leisure travellers and are on sale now.

  Customers can choose Business Class or Economy, both offering complimentary food and drink, plus they can travel with golf clubs, bicycles and other sports equipment for no additional charge as part of bmi’s free hold baggage allowance.

• With the troubles in Libya & the Middle East it is worth reassuring visitors that unlike other countries that has seen protests, Morocco has a successful economy, an elected parliament and a reformist monarchy, making it much less vulnerable to a major uprising than other countries.For European visitors Morocco is inhabited by 99.9% smiley, hospitable people. Libya is 3 countries &  2½   thousand kilometres away, not to visit Marrakech because of Libya would be like not going to London because of problems in Moscow!
